Search Tips

Searches may be conducted on:

- Fonds
- Creators – Corporate Bodies
- Creators – Persons
- Creators – Families

If additional words are used, the string must be precise; in cases where the research is uncertain, it is better to opt for the search for one title, or to adopt the strategy outlined below.

We suggest using a single asterisk. For example, if one inserts the string "Consiglio*dieci", one finds, among the many results:
Camerlengo del Consiglio di dieci (1441 – 1797)
Capi del Consiglio di dieci (1303 – 1797)
Consiglio di dieci (1310 – 1797)

The search results are given in alphabetical order by letter.

Ex: C | D | M | O | P | All | Refine Search

The first search result will appear, based on the first letter of the term, which will be selected one after the other. In this case: Consiglio di dieci (1310-1797)

To view all of the search results, select the "All" option.
